GORP (God’s
Own Resurrection People) Youth
GORP Youth meets on Wednesday nights at 7:30 following Wednesday Nite Dinner,
and on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM. GORP also has regular lock-ins, Saturday movies
at the church, and other activities. Bring your friends!
Children’s Ministries
Children’s ministries are centered around Sunday school, where the format
is based on Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori styled hands-on Spirit
based teaching designed to build the natural connection children have with
Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
Adult Ministries
AllPoints currently offers two adult Sunday school classes. The class led by
Mary Beth and Ron Mott is focusing on Kingdom principles of power and living.
The class led by Sheryl and Tom McClure is focusing on basic Bible study,
study tools, and study methods.
AllPoints also offers periodic studies on Spiritual gifts, hearing the voice
of God, spiritual warfare, and other topics.
We also offer courses by request.
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
Intercessory
prayer group made up of both AllPoints members and other
intercessors from around the metro area meets for prayer
each Monday at 1 PM at the church. This group also does focused
prayer for individuals for healing by appointment, often
at the Monday gathering.
The intercessory prayer team also travels to individual homes
for healing and deliverance prayer, by appointment.
Missions
AllPoints supports a missionary in a Muslim country in the former Soviet Union,
a missionary family in mainland communist China, and regularly supports the
operating budget of SERV Ministries International. We also participate in
short-term mission projects with SERV, and have teams going to Mexico and
Kenya in 2007.
Worship
AllPoints sees worship as a primary ministry. We are made up of members from
various backgrounds and faith traditions, and strive to keep our worship
services friendly and inclusive of various faith traditions while seeking
to find a common ground in worship. We celebrate Eucharist, or the Lord’s
Supper, at each worship service.
Fellowship
We consider fellowship a primary ministry. We enjoy conversation,
inter-generational interaction, coffee, and brunch each
Sunday, and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM we gather for Wednesday
night dinner. We also come together for community service
projects on a frequent basis where we have a great time while helping out
a family in need.
